Does anyone have the lyrics to “Fall Into This”, a track from “the Paper Cd”? I’ve been looking for the lyrics of this track since I first heard it back in 2003. By the way, good job on the new site and hopefully we’ll have a new Flaw album to listen to sooner rather than later.
Last year I was introduced to a band from Australia called Karnivool. Almost a year later and their CD is still in my player daily. I had the pleasure to see them live a few months ago and was completely blown away. This is one CD that should be in your collection without a doubt…
Ex-KoRn guitarist, Brian ‘Head’ Welch, has put up a preview of his newest song, Flush, the first single off his debut solo album, Save Me From Myself, which is scheduled to be released on September 9th.
Our newest feature here at FlawFans.com is the addition of a featured bands section. To inaugurate our newest feature I’m giving the honorary role of our very first featured band to a group from Flaw’s hometown of Louisville, (InTheClear).
Check out their page in the featured bands section and look for new featured bands soon!
AM Conspiracy/ ex-Drowning Pool singer Jason “Gong” Jones has revealed his feelings on the split between himself and Drowning Pool in a recent interview with Altitude. His statement is as follows:
“I left DROWNING POOL because I wasn’t really getting paid for the work I was doing at all whatsoever and wasn’t really happy with the music and definitely wasn’t happy with the guys, if you wanna know the honest truth. So, actually, I was off for a moment, I was in Florida and I saw these guys [AM CONSPIRACY] play, and I was like, ‘Wow, this is so much fucking better. These guys can actually play their instruments,’ and so I jumped in on it, man.”
Drowning Pool have responded to Jones’s statement, which you can view in the video below:
Not much is going down on the Flaw front but the members are all busy with other projects.
Singer, Chris Volz, is currently working with guitar player, Jay Daunt, on a project called Foundation. They have posted a few songs up on their official MySpace page so go check them out.
They are now out on the road touring extensively and have several dozen dates lined up across the country. You can also find their tour schedule on the MySpace page.
Flaw guitar player, Lance Arny, has been working hard on his side project, Nailgun Strategy. Check out their official MySpace page for news and music. They have been playing shows here and there so check frequently for new dates.
Ryan Jurhs is back in Louisville and is jamming with Chris Ballinger and the rest of the Flaw band. They hope to release new material sometime soon.
In the last year or so there hasn’t been much work done to this website. It’s lost much of the appeal that it once had for me. So I’m giving FlawFans back to the Fans. I’m hoping to maintain this site like a wiki-site / blog so I’m going to allow anyone to sign up and post news, info, media or anything Flaw or music related. So click the “Register” link on the right side of the screen and sign up for an account to start posting!
My vision is that FlawFans become not a fansite for Flaw but a music site run by Flaw fans. I would like to have news and info from all around the rock world. If you have news or info on any bands you think other Flaw fans might enjoy then, please, post an article. Thanks!
